Sky Hotels & Resorts is a group of seven branded and independent properties in the Walt Disney World® region of Orlando, Florida. The diverse group of properties offers luxurious amenities within a close proximity to the Disney parks and other local attractions - ideal hotels for vacationing families.
Sky sought an Internet marketing provider to enhance online efforts for all of its hotels. Specifically, they wanted a dynamic portal website that directs visitors to each property and capitalizes on the local area. They also needed improved search marketing to increase direct online bookings in the popular, yet competitive market.
Approach
VIZERGY's design team built a custom portal site that allows visitors to research each hotel and learn about local attractions. The site showcases the properties' amenities and suites, while focusing on Disney, dining, golf and other attractions in a unique "Resort & Activity Finder."
The site saw staggering results during a down economy in 2010, and realized significant growth in the first half of 2011.
