Joe Hyman, President & CEO

Joe Hyman, Founder, President and CEO of Vizergy, is an experienced entrepreneur with more than 17 years of hospitality experience. His extensive background in sales, marketing and management allowed him to recognize a great need in the hospitality industry. Joe started Vizergy, formerly SECURE-RES, in 1998 and now touts over a billion dollars in direct bookings for his hospitality clients. Recognized as one of HSMAI's Top 25 Most Extraordinary Minds in Sales and Marketing, He has lead the company through turbulent times, producing honors in the list of north east Florida’s 50 fastest growing private companies 4 times and most recently Inc 500/5000 fastest growing private companies in America in 2011. Joe attended the University of Florida, is a dynamic speaker and educator on all forms of digital marketing, including Social strategies, mobile and other emerging trends. He has lectured at the Florida Governors conference, Pennsylvania Lodging Association, HSMAI University, CSM Management, Coakley Williams Management and too many more to name. Additionally, Joe provides one-on-one consults to top property managers and is an active participant in many social, charitable and business organizations, including HSMAI, Luxury Real Estate Network, Homes of Life, Luxury Hotels, and “BIG” CEO’s.

Mike Murray, Chief Operations Officer

Vizergy’s COO, Mike Murray has over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry. He has a history of transforming business units and restructuring operations with profitable results. Since joining Vizergy, he has redefined operational services, our client-reporting platform and accounting systems. Here he leads corporate strategic planning and initiatives to support our ever-growing base of hotel, resort and management groups. Mike received his Bachelor’s of Science degree from Florida State University where he studied Hospitality Administration.

Philip Faircloth, Director of Operations

Philip Faircloth, Director of Client Marketing Services, brings 17 years of hotel industry and information technology experience to the Vizergy team. He currently leads the Client Marketing Services and Customer Service teams, leading strategic planning for our clients. Before he began working with Vizergy five years ago, Phil worked in operations and sales at IHG and Starwood, as well as a stint with IT industry leader, GartnerGroup. His combined work experience gives him a first-hand understanding of how hotel owners and operators can maximize online revenue.

Pam Rothenberg, Director of Client Services

Pam Rothenberg, Director of Client Services, brings an extensive 25 years of experience in hotel sales, marketing, and operations. She is responsible for strategy development and day-to-day management of client design projects and Internet marketing campaigns. Prior to Vizergy, Pam resided as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing with the Forbes Hamilton Management Co. where she led the sales and marketing efforts, as well as revenue management initiatives for the company's portfolio of hotels and resorts. Pam received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York – Binghamton.

Mark Klayman, Regional Sales Director

Mark Klayman began as the company’s first sales manager and now works as our Regional Sales Director. His strong foundation in hospitality sales and advertising experience, particularly with property management groups, gives him a keen insight into best practices.  Having managed client relationships with top companies like Coakley & Williams, Pacifica, and Hersha Hospitality, Mark claims a portfolio of more than 300 clients that have generated over $500 million in Internet bookings. Mark is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology where he received his BFA in Communication Arts.

Jay Waite, Director of Client Experience

Jay Waite, Director of Client Experience, is a 20 year veteran in the hospitality industry. Jay has extensive experience working on all sides of the industry which allow him to share insight for driving revenue for independent and branded properties.  Prior to working for Vizergy, Jay worked closely with Franchisees and National Vendors and was a former employee of Hilton Hotels Corporation where he worked to evolve the Hampton Brands product and service initiatives.  Jay’s tenure with Crestline Hotels and Resorts included Food and Beverage Operations, Room Operations and General Manager duties.
