from invisible to in demandhow Vizergy helped a historic branded hotel lead its competitive set in AI search

Following a major renovation, this historic branded hotel in a major Midwest city needed a stronger digital presence to reflect the quality of the guest experience. With nearly 500 rooms, two dining outlets, and almost 60,000 square feet of event space, the property serves a mid-level tourism market that welcomes approximately 19 million visitors annually. Vizergy designed and developed a dedicated vanity website to showcase the property and create a stronger platform for traditional and AI-powered search.

the challenge

The hotel needed its vanity website to compete for visibility against both local competitors and its own branded website. Without the right content depth, technical structure, and machine-readable information, AI platforms could overlook the vanity site when recommending accommodations, dining, and event venues. That would limit the hotel’s ability to influence travelers and meeting planners early in their decision-making process.

the Vizergy solution

Vizergy completed a comprehensive AISO optimization of the vanity website in early May, combining technical improvements, enhanced schema markup, and search-focused content updates. Our team audited the site for technical issues, refined headers, corrected brand inconsistencies, and rewrote key pages around high-intent searches.

We also expanded content covering rooms, amenities, local demand drivers, dining, FAQs, and event spaces. By adding concise, fact-based answers, technical specifications, meeting planner incentives, and machine-readable property details, Vizergy gave search engines and AI platforms a clearer, more complete understanding of the hotel.
