Shake-A-Leg MiamiShake-A-Leg Miami is a non-profit organization in Miami, FL that works with children & adults with physical, developmental and economic challenges in a marine environment, utilizing Biscayne Bay to teach environmental lessons, therapeutic sailing, swimming & kayaking. Vizergy is delighted to have the opportunity to build a brand new website for them.
No More Homeless PetsFirst Coast No More Homeless Pets offers low-cost spay and neuter programs, medical attention, food and supplies to pet owners. They also rescue pets and fix and rerelease feral cats. Vizergy collected roughly 700 pounds of food and supplies for the non-profit in 2011.
Homes of LifeHomes of Life is a Christian mission dedicated to caring for orphaned children through mission work in Costa Rica and Guatemala missions. Vizergy created a website for homesoflife.org and have supported Homes of Life for over 10 years.
Crescent Beach ChallengeThe CBC is a family-organized fundraiser consisting of running, paddling and swimming events to honor and support those affected by leukemia, lymphoma and other blood-related cancers. Each year Vizergy reunites with old friends and forges new friendships all while having a fun day at the beach and raising money for those less fortunate.
Seamark RanchSeamark Ranch is a nurturing Christian home and family system that gives children from families in crisis the tools they need for a brighter future. Vizergy supports this program that introduces even more children from our community to new ways of life.
Second Harvest Food BankSecond Harvest North Florida distributes food and grocery products to hungry people and educates the public about the causes and possible solutions to problems of domestic hunger. In 2011, Vizergy's team donated several hundred pounds of non-perishable items to Second Harvest.
2012 Companies with Heart904 Magazine honored Vizergy in a special edition February edition featuring the 2012 Companies with Heart recognition, an award that highlights local businesses that make it a priority to give back in their communities. Over the last decade, our company has contributed nearly $30,000 to the Jacksonville community.
Our Employees Give Back
QA Analyst Angela Chene and Marketing Manager Billy Bellis help deliver more than 600 pounds of food and supplies to First Coast No More Homeless Pets. It's a busy place! Vizergy employees are passionate about dedicating their time to organizations outside of work.
Billy also donates his spare time to North Florida's longest operating sanctuary, The Catty Shack Ranch, a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe and loving home for endangered big cats, and to educating the public about their plight in the wild and captivity.
