Valencia Hotel Group recently launched their new website, with the help of Vizergy’s website design team. Hear what the design team had to say about this project.
When Valencia approached us to collaborate on a new website for their overarching brand site valenciahotelgroup.com, we were excited to help our long time client meet their goal. Collectively, we have created more than 10 custom website designs together that showcase their incredible properties. Valencia always comes to us with a clear vision for their brand and a desire to make it come alive with creative design and thoughtful solutions. This time was no different.
Their old website, while created by Vizergy, was designed and built in 2012, just before responsive website design became the standard in our industry. Vizergy has made waves in the hospitality community with innovative responsive websites that are ahead of the curve in keeping up with the ever moving target of responsive design – all while making it look good. This time Valencia came to us with a vision to push the limits of design to fit their brand of Timeless Hospitality. When developing our style guide and mood for the new site, the prompt was this: a unique luxury hotel brand that has a story to tell.
The Valencia Hotel Group brand is truly timeless with a classic color palette, traditional typography and a clever photo style that gives the user an experience they will not forget. Their eye for excellent design pushes the boundaries of what is possible here at Vizergy when a client is truly a partner with us and our designers.
The site puts focus on what makes Valencia Hotel Group a master in timeless hospitality – for this redesign, we went with a minimal color palette of black, white, grey and a touch of gold. The images tell a story about the brand and the use of white space puts focus on the star, their content. Their masterfully shot videos showcase their properties in a way that places you in the hotel and takes you on a tour, so we created an area to feature these pieces of art. A custom blog area was created, to pull in content from their carefully crafted articles and a simple call to action area to show the hotel group’s many offerings.
We love working with Valencia on any project, their properties are incredible and their brand speaks to us on so many levels.
