More than 20 years ago, Vizergy was founded to help simplify the digital space for hoteliers and make it more profitable. Since Vizergy's founding, we've continued to develop and enhance our digital marketing platforms and technology to empower our hospitality clients to be successful online. 

Recently, we sat down Vizergy's Vice President of Information - Addams England, to pick his brain on Vizergy's platforms, their capabilities, and projected development in the future. 

Q: Vizergy is always adding new integrations to their platform. How does that position Vizergy clients ahead of their competition?

A: We partner and integrate with best in class providers to help keep our clients ahead of the competition.  We make these integrations seamless for our clients and allow them to realize the benefits in a simple way.

 

Q: Of all the recent enhancements made to the Vizergy Marketing System (VMS), which do you think is the most significant to boosting client’s marketing efforts? ROI? Etc.

A: The TargetingHub PMS, Export for AI, and ROI reporting enhancements allow our clients to easily launch targeted campaigns and accurately measure boosted campaign ROI.

 

Q: How are Vizergy’s technology platforms different from other hospitality platforms?

A: We leverage the latest technologies to ensure that our platform and client websites are up at all times.  Vizergy is PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliant and security is a top priority.  Our hosting environment is fully redundant and we monitor our platform and client websites 24x7x365 for availability and performance.

 

Q: How can hoteliers utilize the Vizergy Marketing System (VMS) to transform their digital hotel operations?

A: The VMS provides a central platform to manage a hotel’s online presence.  The VMS provides much more than a CMS with advanced features like TargetingHub, reputation management, personalization, advanced reporting/analytics, and a marketing calendar with workflow management.  When clients utilize the full capabilities of the VMS they realize the maximum benefit and ROI.

 

Q: Recent ADA and GDPR regulations have made changes to the way companies, specifically hoteliers, present their property online, use and store customer data. How does Vizergy help simplify these changes for their clients?

A: Vizergy builds websites to comply with ADA.  The Performance Analysis feature in our CMS allows client websites to be monitored on a recurring basis for any ADA issues that need to be addressed so that the website can remain compliant.

Vizergy is GDPR and CCPA compliant and we guide clients to follow the best practices on their websites.  Vizergy takes privacy and data protection very seriously. Vizergy has measures in place which meet the principles of data protection by design and data protection by default (per GDPR Article 25). 

Additionally, we have verified that our vendors and partners are in compliance with the GDPR.  Vizergy has subject access request processes in place and will work with a client on requests for data that we have collected through a Vizergy marketing service.

 

Q: Where do you see the Vizergy Marketing System (VMS) in the next few years?

A: In the next few years I see the VMS evolving with more AI and automation features to help our clients more easily identify target segments and more quickly launch targeted campaigns.  The VMS will have additional best in class partner integrations to further help our clients integrate solutions and drive the maximum ROI.
